We are not merely, what is visible as our Body. Trans-plantation of body parts or Trans – fusion of blood from one person to another are some of the many proofs – that we are not the body we have. Body is made up of five elements – earth, water, fire, air and ether or space and will disintegrate and merge back in them. Body is a beautiful gift given to you by ‘the Devine’ for a limited time period, for a purpose. (See that purpose). Body is the ‘Form’ – a manifestation of desires, thoughts and beliefs – called ‘Sanskaras’.
We are the Conscious – an ‘Energy Field’ surrounding our body and also permeating within each and every cell of our Body. Life is imparted to every cell by the Conscious. This Cloud of energy keeps on expanding or contracting depending on whether we are in a joyful state or in a stressful state seized by negativity. This Conscious is the same and referred to as the Cosmic Conscious, Cosmic Intelligence, Self, God, Super Power and so on.
Bigger the ‘Cloud of Conscious’ – more godly we become. We are at a higher position in the ‘Domain of Divinity’. Most of our experiences are ‘Heavenly’. Conversely, smaller the ‘Cloud of Conscious’ – farther away from godliness we are. Below a particular threshold – wherein the characteristics of an individual are of normal Human Being, the individual is in the ‘Domain of Devility’. Most of the experiences an individual in this Domain goes through are ‘Devilish’ in which his or her own body sensations, emotions, behavior, and his or her own mind torture or give feeling of pain to him or her. In this state individual experiences physical, mental, emotional or behavioral problems. But actually these are not the problems but indications of the aspect that the individual’s ‘Energy Level’ is depleted.
These ‘Devilish’ experiences of Hell are the effect of Energies (we label as ‘Negative’) in and around us and become operative only when the individual’s energy level is depleted (and gone below the threshold and entered into ‘domain of devility’. At different levels of energy one goes through different experiences). These negative energies cannot reveal themselves and affect an individual in the ‘Domain of Divinity’. Once, the ‘Energy Level is built up; these problems vanish the same way they appeared. The individual in the ‘Domain of Devility’ can enter ‘Domain of Divinity only through the Threshold defining ‘Normal Human Being’.
The ‘Principle of Working of Conscious’. The ‘Principle of Working of Conscious’ is very simple. It is that “on ‘whatever’ you pay your ‘attention’ – that grows and become stronger.” The higher frequency and intensity of attention (say of a child or a meditator) and attention of number of people make it grow more and happen speedily. That ‘whatever’ – may be one or more of the following:-
Whatever you repeatedly describe yourself as; you end up becoming the one. Therefore, never describe yourself or label yourself or allow to be labeled (by others) as a person – you don’t want to be. Because, whatever we describe ourselves as, we start believing to be so. And thereafter, other people also start seeing us as such. And more and more people carry such impression about us, ‘Collective Conscious’ works and we invariably and speedily end up becoming the one. You become what you think you are. You are what you believe you are. When one describes himself or herself as an old person, he or she starts looking like the one and becomes old. People in the company of children or adults remain young for longer time.
Painful sensation in the body. If we repeatedly pay our attention on the painful feeling – it grows. If we ignore it completely by remaining busy in other activities or say ‘I have no time for this’ – It vanishes. When one always focuses on good health and always describes him or her as perfectly healthy – that happens. In yoga, one is required to focus attention on the part of body being stretched or contracted. By doing so that part becomes flexible and strong.
A particular sickness (- say Heart Attack.) An individual, who mostly, talks of, or is scared of or repeatedly thinks of heart attack, will end up suffering the one.
An event. We repeatedly focus on some event out of fear (say an accident) or in the form of a strong and undoubtful belief. Repeated attention on that event ensures occurrence of that event in one’s life.
Poverty or Financial shortage or lack. By repeated attention and reiterations and assertions – poverty or lack grows. On the other hand, if we focus on ‘Abundance’ – as to what all we have got, – the abundance grows.
The lack in a ‘Relationship’. The lack in that Relationship further increase and ultimately that Relationship is likely to break. On the contrary, when one repeatedly pays attention on what, a ‘relationship’ has provided; the providence of that relationship grows.
A habit or a trait. When a person repeatedly thinks of sex, his or her lust will grow. Similarly, when a person mostly talks of and describes himself or herself as short tempered or an angry person, his or her short temperedness and anger grows.
Characteristic (or characteristics) of an individual. When we repeatedly think about a person, we see him displaying certain characteristics. That (or those) characteristics we end up imbibing and they grow in us, though, at some point of time we might be hating an individual for possessing those characteristics. Therefore, one should never hate any one; otherwise the hater ends up imbibing and growing the same characteristics in him or her, for possession of which he or she hated that person.
Similarly, when in ‘Art of Living’ its members, through Sudarshan Kriya and other activities, repeatedly focus on their Guru – H.H. Sri Sri Ravi Shankar Ji in a state of Joy; almost all of them end up imbibing Joy in their life and becoming Joyful. Their thought is much intense as they meditate regularly. Their Conscious maps with that of the ‘Guru’. ‘Conscious Mapping’ is wherein the Conscious (of the Guru) replicates its impressions i.e. “Sanskaras’ (desires, thoughts, beliefs, form and (as a result of them) all the future events (even death) defined by them.
