1) Mithuna (Gemini)
Lagan: Mental character born with a wavering mind. Fond of working and reading,
they are ingenious and quick-witted, vivacious and inconsistent, nervous and
restless. They are tall and straight in stature in stature and active in
motion. Face well developed; there is a depression near the chin, a thin face,
sanguine complexion, unusual height if malefic are there, the eyes are clear
and the nose snub. They are weak but active.
2) They are very weak
but active and tend to become experts in mechanical sciences. They may suffer
sudden nervous breakdowns. They must be cautious in moving with the opposite ling.
Their mind will be often conscious of their own depravity. They are very clever
and possess inherent conversations and literary ability. They are liable to
fraud and deception. If evil planets are in Gemini, trickery and deceit will
characterize their nature. They are best in occupations where there is much
activity.
3) People with Gemini as
their ascendant are generally of an intellectual bent of mind unless mercury in
their horoscope is people’s influence of such planets as Saturn, Rahu or sum,
they are separated from their country or place of birth and have to live away
from it most of their life. If Moon too is under the influence the mother of
such people is general short lived? If the horoscope belongs to a govt.
servant, his life is subject to many frequent transfers from station to
station. If there is the association of Mercury and Moon in the 4th house there
is no influence on these planets, the person takes part in politics and public
affairs. If Mercury Moon and Venus are all under malefic influence, there is
every possibility of the native turning mad, for in that event all the relative
factors concerned in lunacy viz. the lord of the Lagan, the lord of the 5th
house, Mercury and Moon are all affected. If this Lagan together with the
planet Mercury is afflicted by malefic such as Mars then the younger brothers
of the mother of the native are short lived for the reason that the planet
Mercury is the significance of uncles and is also the lord of the 8th house
from the 6th- the house of uncles and as such represents their longevity.
4) For people born in
this Lagan Mars becomes the lord of the 6th house which is a house of injury
and violence. Mars also becomes the lord of the 11th house which being 6th to
6th (BHAVAT BHAVAM) also stands for injuries and violence. Mars for such people
is, as it were, saturated with violence. If, therefore, such a Mars is located
in Gemini in the Lagan and also aspects Moon then the mind of the native
becomes very violent indeed. Such a man may becomes a thief, a murderer or a
dacoit. The situation of Mars in the Lagan in such cases indicated the great
likelihood of the man receiving an injury in the head, particularly when
Mercury too is afflicted by Mars. If Ketu joins Mars, it is evident that the
injury will be more serious.
5) Born with Gemini-often tall and straight in nature and are active in motion,
forehead broad, eyes clear and nose, a bit snub. They are active and become
experts in mathematical sciences, and mechanical sciences provided Saturn has
some strong influence over them. They will be “a jack of all trades but
master of none”. They are vivacious, but liable to be inconsistent. They
will have sudden nervous breakdowns and must exercise a certain amount of
caution in moving with the opposite ling; a habit of self-control must be
cultivated.
Their mind will be often conscious of their own faults.
6) For the Gemini
Ascendant Mars is the lord of the 6th and 11th. According to Parashar Hora,
Mars is not an auspicious planet for the Gemini ascendant. They should avoid
wearing Coral. However, red Coral can be used if Mars is in his own sign in the
11th or 6th in the Major period of Mars. It should be noted that Mars and
mercury are not friends.
7) In the birth chart of
Gemini ascendant, Sun is the lord of the 3rd house. It will not be useful for
the native of this ascendant to wear Ruby unless the Sun is in his own sign in
the third house. Even then it should be worn in the major period of Sun when it
will make the native courageous and successful in all his ventures.
8) For the Gemini
Ascendant Moon is lord of the 2nd house, the house of wealth. Second house is
the house of death also (Maark house). There fore, Pearl may not prove very
suitable but when the Moon is ill placed and afflicted and the native is going
through an adverse time in financial matters, Wearing of Parl is expected in
the 12th, and be in his own sing or be in the 11th, 10th or 9th house, the
wearing of Pearl will prove beneficial, in the major period of Moon. On the
whole, however, Pearl is not a very agreeable stone for this Ascendant as
Mercury the lord of the Ascendant is not friendly with Moon.
9) For the Gemini
Ascendant Mercury is the lord of the ascendant and the 4th house. The natives
of this ascendant should always wear emerald as protective charms. This will
bestow them with good health, wealth, longevity, lands and property, domestic
happiness, success in the field of education, a smooth and obstruction free
life. The beneficial results will be more apparent in the major period and sub
periods of Mercury. If Mercury be in his own sign in the Ascendant or the 4th,
such a disposition will give rise to a very favorable yoga known as Bhadra yoga
(one of the Panchamaha purusha yogas) then the beneficial effects of the yoga
will be enhanced by wearing an Emerald.
10) For the Gemini
Ascendant Jupiter will be lord of the 7th and 10th house. As a result of this
he suffers from Kendra – adhipati dosha. Still if Jupiter is in the Ascendant,
2nd (where he will be exalted). 4th, 5th, 7th (in his own sign giving rise to
Hamsa yoga), 9th, 10th (in his own sign again giving rise to Hamsa Yoga) or
11th, it will be useful to wear a yellow Sapphire in his major and sub-periods.
If a native suffers set backs in his professional life, he should immediately
wear a yellow Sapphire irrespective of the major period that may be operating
at that time. Those apprehending death on account of old age or some illness or
in shoes horoscope there are indications of short life, should not wear yellow
Sapphire, as Jupiter is strong death inflicting planet for this Ascendant.
11) For the Gemini
Ascendant Venus will be lord of the 5th and the 12th house. Being the lord of
the 5th, a trine, Venus is an auspicious planet for this ascendant, Moreover,
Venus is a friend of Mercury- the lord of this ascendant. Consequently wearing
of a Diamond in the major and sub-periods of Venus will bless the native with
children, happiness, intelligence, name, fame and good fortunes. Wearing of
diamond with emerald will always be of immense benefit to the native.
12) For the Gemini
ascendant Saturn is lord of the 9th, a trine. I consider Saturn as an
auspicious planet for this ascendant. It will, therefore, be quite beneficial
for the native to wear Blue Sapphire in the major periods of Saturn. Therefore,
wearing of emerald, with blue sapphire will prove more advantageous.
Planets for Gemini Ascendant
Sun:- The lord of the
third house is not considered good, hence Sun wil not give mush good results in
financial matters.
Moon:- As Lord of the
second house, Moon if strong, will give nice result in regard to finances,
family marriage, education speech etc. if, however, Moon is weak contrary could
be the results in matters stated above.
Mars:- Mars becomes lord
of sixth and eleventh houses both indicating injury. Since Mars himself is also
an injuries planet, if can inflict injury particularly if it aspects the Lagan
and its lord Mercury. By causing affliction Mars give both income and loss
alternatively.
Mercury:- Being lord of
Lagan, Mercury is nice for wealth, health and longevity provided Mercury is
strong. If weak it would give brain and emotional troubles, loss of wealth,
opposition to relatives, bad relations with the public etc.
Jupiter:- Being lord of
two Kendra houses vix. 7th and 10th Jupiter ceases to be a benefic and if
placed in marks house i.e. second, 7th etc. it can give serious physical
trouble during it dasa and bhukti. If, however, it is strong it is capable of
conferring much benefit from government, wife and business particularly the
former.
Venus:- it gives results
of the 5th house. If strong Venus gives success in departmental examination,
gives birth to progeny, increases the prospects of progeny, enhances financial
condition. If it is weak, contrary can be the results. If strong in fifth
house, it can give woman affairs too.
Saturn:- As Lord of 8th
and 9th house it is more or less equally balanced, but since its mool-trikona
sign falls in the 9th house the house of luck, Saturn if strong will enhance
the prospects of career both of self and those of the father. If weak, contrary
would be the results.
