The periods of prosperity
and financial gains for any native during his lifespan is calculated on the
basis of the mahadashas and antradasha and transits of the constituent planets
of any favourable yoga or during the mahadasha and antardasha periods and transits
of the planets promising wealth and prosperity in the horoscopic chart of the
native. Therefore analyzing of mahadasha and antardasha periods and the periods
of transits is important for timing the periods of financial gains. The same
thing applies in the timing of the periods of financial misery and losses, the
planets or the constituent planets forming any Yoga for financial misery may
give their effect during the period sof their mahadashas and antardashas and
during the periods of their transit.

Mahadashas
and Antardashas

Dashas and Antardashas are
the planetary period and planetary sub-periods which commence with the birth of
the native and runs throughout the lifespan. Dasha periods are determined by
the placement of the natal Moon in the birth chart. Among several prevalent
Dasha systems most widely accepted one in vedic astrology is the system of
Vimshottari Dasha.

During a Dasha period and
the period of Antardasha, a planet exerts influence and delivers its result in
accordance with its natural significance, its lordship of the houses in the
horoscope, as well as in accordance with its placement in the particular house
within the horoscope of the native.

1.
Lords of 3rd, 7th, 8th and 12th
houses tend to deliver unfavourable results it their respective Dasha periods
and Antardasdhas.

2.
While Dasha and Antardasha periods of 11th house lord is favourable
for wealth and prosperity but it may cause health related problems for the
native.

3.
Well placed and strong Ascendant lord gives favourable results to the native,
in its Dashas and Antardashas.

4. 5th
and 9th house lords always give favourable results to the native in
its Dasha and Antardasha periods irrespective of their natural significance.

Planets placed in 4th house gives favourable results in its
Antardasha within the Dasha periods of the planets placed in 10th
house.

6.
Planets placed in 10th house gives favourable results in its
Antardasha within the Dasha periods of the planets placed in 4th
house.

7.
Planets placed in 5th house gives favourable results in its
Antardasha within the Dasha periods of the planets placed in 9th
house.

8.
Planets placed in 2nd house gives unfavourable results in its
Antardasha within the Dasha periods of the planets placed in 12th
house.

9.
Planets placed in 12th house gives unfavourable results in its
Antardasha within the Dasha periods of the planets placed in 2nd
house.

10.
Planets placed in 6th house gives unfavourable results in its
Antardasha within the Dasha periods of the planets placed in 8th house.

11.
Planets placed in 8th house gives unfavourable results in its
Antardasha within the Dasha periods of the planets placed in 6th
house.

12.
Sun and Moon gives unfavourable results in its Antardasha within the Dasha
periods of Rahu and Ketu.

13.
Rahu and Ketu gives unfavourable results in its Antardasha within the Dasha
periods of the Sun and Moon.

14.
Saturn gives unfavourable results in its Antardasha within the Dasha periods of
the Venus.

15.
Venus gives unfavourable results in its Antardasha within the Dasha periods of
the Saturn.
