How to make inference about the Moon?

The inference of the Moon is made through nakshatras. Its
calculation is the radically entered in the same chart. At the very outset of
the inference of the Moon it is to be seen what is the nakshatra of one’s birth
and how many hours after the birth have lapsed. It means that one must see
which nakshatra is written along with gahri and pal. If the number of ghari and
pal is more than the nakshatra of the time of birth write down the number of
sixty with number of nakshatra of the day of birth and exclude the remainder.
Include the number of nakshatra in this remainder. The total will be the total
number of nakshatra. The name of nakshatra written in that day will be the name
of the child. In case the number of nakshatra of the day of birth is less than
the number of nakshatra mentioned in the block of the time of birth the
nakshatra of birth will be the same, However, for the sake of inference of Moon
number of ghari, Pal and kul is certainly required to be worked out.

Important Notes on Inference of Planets

It is important to consider crooked and straight movement of
planets. In case of crooked pace of planets, the numbers are to be deducted
while in straight planets the numbers are to be added. Rahu jand Ketn (the
Northern and Southern lunar nodes) are also inferred in backward order.

Note 2: If the planet whose inference is required makes a
crooked movement the obtained Kula and bakula will be subtracted. If it makes
straight movement the obtained kula and bakula will be added.

Note 3: Inferences of planets are recorded, and almanacs and
charts take effect from midnight of Amavashya and Purnmashi.

Note 4: In the inference of planet the movement and speed of
energy planet is mentioned.

Note 5: In astrologer’s chart and almanac the duration
between Sunrise and midnight on Amavashya, Purnmashi and either of ashtamis is
mentioned under or over each inference.

Note 6: Inference of a planet recorded in astrologer’s chart
and almanac is in accordance with the duration of the inference, namely the
time at midnight. Some date charts and almanac, contain only the inference of
planets pertaining to Amavashya and Purnmashi. In case the movement of the
target time from midnight of shukl ashtami to the midnight of Purnmashi is
sangya the inference of Purnmashi should be adopted.

Note 7: Inference of planets is normally recorded in charts
and almanacs in terms of 8 day interval. Here, the inference of Amavashya
should be adopted from midnight of Amavashya to midnight of one fouth of the
bigher phse

(Shukl Paksh). From midnight of one fourth to the midnight
of ashtami the inference of ashtami is to be adopted in the movement of the
target time namely the previous Sangya.

Note 9: From midnight of ashtami to the midnight duvadashi
inference of ashtami should be adopted in the future Sangya.

Note 10: In the previous Sangya from the midnight of
duvadashi to the midnight of Purnmashi inference of Purnmashi will be adopted.

Note 11: If the past time is the target or required time
then the remainder obtainted from subtraction of time, ghari and pal of the
time of birth, the time, gahri and pal of mishrman is called gunantar. In case
the time, ghari and pal of meshrman are subtracted form the time, ghari and pal
of the time of birth it will be known as ikhyantar. In ikhyantar and gunantar,
waar also is taken into consideration. Mishrman of the same planet may be
adopted which has proxity to the inference of specific time of birth entered
in the almanac.

Note 13: If the number of day is not deducted from the day
the lower day should be reduced by adding 7 to the number of that day.

Note 14: If the numbers of gharis, cannot be deduced from
numbers of gharis it self then take from the number of day of establish its 60
gharis. Subsequently add them to the gharis on the upper side and subtract from
them the gharis on the lower side. Similarly, if the number of pals are less
then the number of gharis make its 60 pals and add to the pals which are
greater than the pals on the lower scale. The remaining number of day, ghari
and pal will be taken as gunantar or ikhyantar.

Note 15: The day of Mishrman and one’s own should be one and
the some, If they have a difference of seven days the difference will be worked
out adding 7 to the day.
