Significance of the houses

Significance of the houses: The twelve houses (as usually understood) in the horoscope signify different aspects of a man’s life as given below:

First	Personality, body, face, appearance, health.
Second	Wealth, speech, family, neck, throat, right eye
Third	Brother or sister, courage, short journeys, hands, right ear.
Fourth	Education, mother, house or land, convenience, general happiness, maternal Uncle, chest.
Fifth	Children, intelligence, fame, position, love, stomach.
Sixth	Diseases, debts, sorrows, injuries, notoriety, aunt or uncle, waist, enemies.
Seventh	Marriage, desires, sexual diseases, lions.
Eighth	Death or longevity, sexual organs, obstacles, unearned wealth, accident.
Ninth	Fortune, character, religion, father, long journeys, grandson, thighs.
Tenth	Profession, father, rank, authority, honour, success, knees.
Eleventh	Gains, fulfillment of desires, prosperity, friends, left ear, ankle.
Twelfth	Losses, misery, expenditure, comfort of bed, salvation or moksha feet, lefteye.
