Mars in the Second House
Acharya: Dhanage kadatraha. He gets inferior grain.
Gunakar: The same as above.
Baidhyanath: Dhaaturvaadakrishikriyaata naparaha kopi kuje vittage. Metal, debate, agriculture, travel and anger are the properties of Mars in the Second House. It does not bring any wealth.
Kalyanavarma: Adhananha kadashanatushtaha purusho vikritaanano dhanasthaano kujanaashraya rudhire bhavati naro vidhyayaa rahitaha. He is poor, has to be satisfied with inferior grain, has a distorted face, gives shelter to wicked people and remains illiterate.
Brihadyavanajaatak: Adhanataam kujanaashrayataam tathaa vimatitaam kripayaasativiheenataam. Tanubhritaam vidadhaanti virodhataam dhananiketanagosavanindanaha. Poor, shelter to the wicked, stupidity, unkind and great conflict are the properties of Mars.
Garg: Krishiko vikrayi bhogi pravaasyarunavittavaan. Dhaatuvaadi matenaarsho dhutakkaraha kuje dhane. Dhane bhaume dhanahaanihi prajaayate. Peeddaadehe cha netre cha bhaaryaabandhujanaihi kalihi. Agriculture, success in enterprise, traveler, pink coloured complexion, wealthy, metal work, stupidity, gambler, body aches, eye diseases, quarrels with wife and relatives are he properties of Mars.
Narayanabhatt: Punaha sanmukham ko bhaveth vaadbhagnaha. People one after the other lose arguments to him and start shunning him.
Mantreshwara: Vachasi vimukhaha. He does not like to speak.
Aryagranth: Vikrame magnachittaha krishatanusukhabhaagi. He is always interested in victory, has a dehydrated body and is happy.

Jaageshwar: Dhane kroorakhet. Mukhe vaath netre tatha dakshinaanse tatha karnake vaa. Bhaveddha dhaatapaatosathava vai vranam syaadhyadaa saumyahashhtam na yuktam dhanam chet. If there is a malefic influence in the House of Wealth or there is no auspicious planet influencing Mars, then the person’s face, eyes, right shoulder and ears suffer one or the other injury.
