Process of Inference of Ascendant

The first approach to the inference of ascendant is to determine
the precise Ansh to facilitate in the inference of ascendant. The deduction of 135 from Sambat Bikramajit makes shaka shalbaham. Deducted from 444 from shaka shalbaham the remainder is divided by 60 giving quotient which is Ansh and the remainder Kula which is called precise Ansha.

Example of Precise Ansha: Deduction of 135 from Sambat 1949 gives 814. Deduction of 444 from this leaves a remainder of 1370 which when divided by 60 gives a quotient of 22 and a remainder of 50. This 22 Kula and 50 bakula will be called Precise Ansha.

Note: Since the movement of the Sun increases every year by one Kula this increase also takes place in the precise Ansha. When precise Ansha will Nach 24 Ansha due to angrily increase of one Kula it will again start from one Kula. With this movement, it will take 1440 years to complete 24 Ansha.

Process of devising Bhog Ansh and Bhagat Ansh

If the time of birth is in the Bhog portion of the day of which a Bhog is required the precise Ansh will be added to the Sun inference while thirty is to be deducted from the sum total.

Further, taking one number from the remaining one Kula of Sun inference should be reduced from its 60 Kula. Again, taking one Kula from the remaining Kulas and making 60 bakulas should be deducted from it whatever remains will be Bhog Ansh. If Bhagat isht of the day is afternoon add precise Ansh with 6 to the inference. Then it will have a day-long Bhatgat Ansh Sangya. In case the birth time covers the duration from Sunset to midnight it will Bhog Sangya. In the Bhog of night, by adding precise Ansha to the Sun inference, the Ansh like the day Bhog will be reduced by 30 and become night Bhog Ansha by first adding 6 Rashi. In case the inference is post-midnight, the night Bhog Ansh will be covered by adding only precise Ansha to the Sun inference.

Note: Wherever the birth time is complete 60 Ghari the Sun inference itself will be ascendant. In case the birth time is equal to the length of day the ascendant inference will be obtained by adding 6 Rashi to the Sun inference.

How to device an isht Nadi (b”V ukMh) [Refer Nadi Astrology]

The time of birth (ist) existing from Sunrise to noon is called isht Nadi. In case the birth time is from the afternoon to the Sunset it will be deducted from the duration of the day it is also ist Nadi. In case the birth time is from Sunset to midnight it will the deducted from the duration of the day. This also will be isht Nadi. In case the time of birth is between midnight and after Sunset then isth Nadi maybe constituted by deducting the birth time (isht) from 60. Since our time of birth is after midnight it will be a Bhagat ratri isht of Sambat 1983 Bikram

Since the isht is Bhagat Ratri Sangya there is no need to add any Rashi to it. Ansh, Kula and bakula will be multiplied by 353 pals of kanya Rashi one after another.

The product 15179 Bakula is divided by 60 to bring a quotient 252 which added to 3177 Kula makes 3429. This total will be divided by 60 to bring a quotient 57 which when added 9178 will make 9235. Now this total divided by 30 will give the result. 307 Rashi, 25 Ansh, 9 Kula 59 bakula
